      20 million people in the US, 1 in 9 adults, have Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)- 20 million more are at increased risk - and most don't know it!  Raising public awareness of CKD is the first step in beginning to lower the staggering number of people with CKD and those who are at increased risk.

·        Organ Donation
Did you know that someone in this country dies every three hours because of a shortage of donor organs?  Part of the NKF of Upstate New York's Mission is to increase the availability of all organs for transplantation.  Click Here.
