Supporting the
National Kidney Foundation of Upstate New York through the United Way “Donor
Designated Option” [#1052 ] is an investment in your community.
That
investment, multiplied by others who give to the United Way, has the power to
bring about real changes in the fight against kidney disease. Many people give
by participating in their United Way workplace giving campaign.
A $5 weekly
payroll deduction will provide funds to purchase a year’s supply of organ donor
cards, $10 a week will provide equipment and supplies for a kidney screening,
and $20 a week will underwrite a patient education symposium.
