Kidney Walk Tribute
Do you have a friend or loved one that you consider to be a hero, or someone you would like to remember in a special way? You now have the opportunity to purchase a “street sign” along the Kidney Walk route to honor or memorialize your friend or loved one.
A special “Kidney Walk Hero Avenue or Memory Mile” street sign will provide a new and unique opportunity to continue to remember a special person in your life. On Saturday, September 27th, 2008, hundreds of walkers will participate in the 9th Annual Kidney Walk at the Seneca Park Zoo. This memorial or hero listing will be a special tribute to a friend or loved one who has faced the challenges of kidney disease. The person’s name will be displayed on a personalized street sign.
